Armstrongs has developed and delivered training and assessment for the Transport and Logistics industry for over 50 years. Craig Nicholson, CEO of Armstrongs, has over 40 years of experience in Road Transport and Heavy Vehicle Training, focusing on strategy development and business growth.


His extensive expertise in driver training and saf

Armstrongs has developed and delivered training and assessment for the Transport and Logistics industry for over 50 years. Craig Nicholson, CEO of Armstrongs, has over 40 years of experience in Road Transport and Heavy Vehicle Training, focusing on strategy development and business growth.


His extensive expertise in driver training and safety comes from a combination of university qualifications and practical experience in the Road Transport industry. His passion for road safety and meeting the industry's employment needs drives his focus on building the capacity of drivers entering the industry. Craig brings data-driven, hands-on experience in regulation design, strategy and stakeholder management.

Rob's entrepreneurial journey spans continents, the latest being the acquisition of two RTOs, ACE Training and MultiSkills Training. As CEO, Rob is at the forefront of civil construction, high-risk, and heavy vehicle training in Victoria. Both RTOs hold funding contracts with the Victorian Department of Education and employ approximately 

Rob's entrepreneurial journey spans continents, the latest being the acquisition of two RTOs, ACE Training and MultiSkills Training. As CEO, Rob is at the forefront of civil construction, high-risk, and heavy vehicle training in Victoria. Both RTOs hold funding contracts with the Victorian Department of Education and employ approximately 100 staff across 6 locations in Victoria. 


He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a Finance Major and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie University, graduating with distinction. His membership in the steering committee is marked by his unparalleled expertise in entrepreneurship, acquisitions, corporate governance, and driving strategic relationships with government bodies, stakeholder groups, and impactful community initiatives.

Brett, CEO of TDT, comes from academia and is currently a lecturer at Monash University's Business School with a pass

TDT Training Australia is a leading family-owned and operated Vocational Educational training provider and the largest Heavy Vehicle training provider in Victoria, offering a wide range of qualifications in various fields. Brett, CEO of TDT, comes from academia and is currently a lecturer at Monash University's Business School with a passion for martial arts and motorcycling.


He holds qualifications in management, business, leadership, and science, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and development. Brett's nomination is backed by his leadership, communication skills, track record of achievement, and operational expertise, making him a strong candidate for the group's success.

Rebecca Sculac, CEO & Director, started in the administration department over 15 years ago and has since grown the business and team to the

Rebecca Sculac, CEO & Director, started in the administration department over 15 years ago and has since grown the business and team to the success Yugo is today. She is also an emergency Trainer/Assessor in Heavy Vehicles.


Rebecca holds an MC licence, full TAE Cert IV Training & Assessing, Cert IV Car Driver Instruction, Fatigue Management units, and Construction Induction, and is currently training in OHS certification. Committed to fairness and business success, she seeks to enhance relationships with VicRoads/DTP and other HV providers to achieve shared goals.

With a military background and experience in establishing training centres, Leigh Vecht, the CEO of Integral Training, resides in Euroa alongside his wife. They are dedicated to community involvement, contributing to local organisations such as the local CFA and have a passion for outdoor pursuits. 


He holds numerous certifications in civil construction, training, and heavy vehicle operation, bringing extensive expertise and dedication to quality training. Leigh aims to represent smaller regional RTOs on the committee, bringing firsthand experience as both a trainer and CEO to shape the future of heavy vehicle industry training.
